The Battle Tower

The punch Kazuki gave to Kipper's shoulder was light enough that Kipper was able to recover. "Totally not cool" Kipper muttered to himself lightly rubbing his arm for a brief second. He then locked his eyes back on to his opponents. They...they looked like him now! Suddenly Kipper understood why Trixy had been adamant about him punching her if he saw them. They were good at mimicking. Kipper felt a wave of fear mixed with adrenaline. If they now looked like him, he was pretty much on his own in terms of battling...and that was assuming that both of these fake-Kippers were the two Zoura and not Trixy. He didn't really have time to second guess himself, so Kipper once again quickly lunged for the Furret he had locked onto using foresight a moment ago and punched him (her?) in the chest.

"I'll take ya right NO-ow!" Setzer had tried to scramble off of the bed and towards Callahan, but he was so banged up that the three nurses were able to hold him down, which hurt like hell all the same. The nice nurse flicked him lightly on the collarbone, sending enough pain shrieking through Setzer to cause him to swear. Then she pushed aside the curtain between the two beds and smiled kindly at Callahan.

"Now now you two, the fighting's over and you both did very well. It's time to put that all behind you, wouldn't you say? No more of this posturing, trying to rile each other up all over again. You both just sit back, and watch the fight going on, mmkay?"

Setzer looked up at the Chansey gijinka incredulously, as if she had grown a second head or something. Despite her words, he shot a venomous look over in Callahan's direction and retorted "And I'm not scrawy you're just fat. Fatty." This earned him a flick in the gills, and Setzer yelped indignantly.

"Mr. Borgia, behave yourself! If you keep this up, we won't bring you anything to eat!"

Setzy huffed and sunk into the bed, defeated by the thought of food. He kept shooting Callahan evil looks when the nurses weren't looking though, his eyes accusing, blaming the Mightyena for getting him into trouble even though it had been his own childish antics that had gotten him into it in the first place. "M'name's not 'Mr. Borgia', it's Setzer, ya damn sadistic nurse!" Setzy yelled after the first nurse's retreating form, earning giggles from the other two still tending to his wounds.

Zori just took the punch. It wasn't strong, she looked into Kipper eyes and saw that he was confused about that both Zoruas transformed into him. "Now we will dance a bit."She said with furret voice and grabed Kipper hand, then he made nice pirouette and throw Furret-boy into Trixy direction.
Zori grined and looked for Kazuki.

mitsuki is getting more and more interest watching her friends and teacher battling. hmn... mr. kazuki and zori is taking lead. if trixy and the furret able to recognize each other, there is possibilities for them to win. but miracle can happen right? i wonder tough... can i battle like them? i'm a weak girl... mitsuki thought, her eyes still staring at the battle.

The mist was starting to fade, Kazuki slapped his forehead at what his partner just did. The Nidorina wouldn't be confused if the real furret went back to her! He jumped back, bumping into Kipper, both falling to their butts. "Ow!!" Kazuki yelped, his acting skills were not too bad, his voice exactly like Kipper~ "W-What!?" He looked at Kipper wide-eyed, as the mist disappeared, "W-Why do you look like me!?" he backed away, turning to Trixy, looking scared, tears forming in his eyes as he saw the girl, "you have to believe me..." he started to shake in fear of the girl attacking him..

Setzer flipped Callahan off before turning back to watch the match on the television. Good fighter or no, he still didn't like the damn mutt's condescending tone. The nurses tittered again, annoyingly enough, but Setzer just laid back and studied the screen. Mist had covered the arena, so for a while there was nothing to be seen. No doubt if he had been out in the audience he could track at least the Zorua's by the scent of their blood, and perhaps the others after some more blood was drawn (if any). After some time the mist finally cleared, and Setzer rolled his eyes as he saw Trixy alone on the field with not one, not two, but three Furrets surrounding(ish) her.

Now Setzer was able to see what was going on. Due to years of training, he was able to tell who was who still, even without being able to smell their blood. To him it was obvious, while to the casual observer the illusions must have been spot on. While Zori looked just like the other Furrets, the half-grin and tell-tale gleam of battle-lust in her eyes was a dead giveaway. The real hyper, squirrel-y kid whose name Setzy didn't know had fallen to the ground with a perplexed look on his face, mixed with a dash of fear he was trying to hide away. Kazuki, ever the type to play things up (as Setzer learned during their own battle) was being more obvious with his feigned confusion and fright. As the teacher's eyes began to tear up pitifully people in the audience began aww'ing, and the nurses here in the PokeCenter as well, which caused Setzy to facepalm in disgust.

"Ya gotta be kiddin' me..."

(Lol what can I say...Kipper is a little too scatterbrained to have qualms about that)

Now Kipper understood why Trixy had been so upset about Kazuki pretending to be her. It was embarrassing! Although Kipper was prone to crying sooner than the older kids, there was no way he'd cry that quickly to Trixy. He knew well enough that crying didn't win battles; his older brother had taught him that. Kipper gave the fake-Kipper a look of frustration and then used fury swipes attempting to hit wherever he could, especially the fake-Kipper's face. "I'm not a baby!"

heh~ Kids will be kids~ Kazuki pretty much knew he would be found out, after all, he didn't know the furret to really be able to pretend to be him. He easily dodged the messy, unpredictable fury swipes and went under Trixy's legs, (If she was wearing a skirt, he flipped it up! xDD) then kicked her back, the momentum pushing her right towards the on-going fury swipes.

He then turns to them, his illusion of Kipper fading as he got ready for his most powerful attack, Night Burst. A dark aura surrounded him. He nodded to Zori, it was time to finish them off! If they could anyways~ Suddenly, shockwaves of darkness shot out of Kazuki, going straight for Trixy and Kipper!

Zori smiled when Kazuki started his attack. She prepared herself to use Iron Tail once more after his Night Burst to finish Trixy and Kipper. Zoris tail glowed white but didn't turn into iron, she was waiting, observing how will end Kazuki attack. She streched herself, all her muscles where prepared for quick jump and attack.

Setzer had heard Callahan muttering, but pretended not to hear and for a while seemed as if he wouldn't even acknowledge the comment. When he was sure the nurses were looking though he quickly turned and lobbed an abandoned roll of gauze at the Mightyena, pegging him harmlessly upside the head. Sure that wouldn't hurt Callahan a bit, and it hurt Sezter like a mo-fo to even throw that light little object, but it was still worth it in his mind. He turned back to face the television and snickered, his expression changing to one one of innocence as soon as the Chansey nurses looked his way. {{Well, innocent for a Sharpedo.... So not innocent at all, I think... T7T}}

His attention back on the battle, Setzer groaned to see one furret swiping furiously at another. Man, this fight was a mess all over. Kazuki and Zori had Trixy and the hyper kid flanked, and they looked as if they were going to take them both out with a joint attack. If either one of them didn't do something, they were toast, and it would be the quickest fight Setzy had seen in ages. "Gah, this is depressing! This fight's an insult to fighters everywhere, they're not even trying!" Setzer scowled and crossed his arms tentatively, shaking his head. That damned squirrely kid needed some self defense lessons stat, to be able to hold his own in a fight, and Trixy, well... She was as useless as ever, in his opinion. (<---Completely biased opinion.)

{{Setzer would probably give Kipper because he's so few up with what he's watching, but he'd be a pretty damn terrifying teacher... It would be so horrible~! TuT}}

Callahan's ear twitched as he heard Setzer's sudden movement, and his hand shot up to catch the roll of soft gauze before it had a chance to hit him. Without even looking at Setzer, he set the gauze on the side table beside him and continued to focus on the fight.

"No kiddin'.." he snorted in agreement as he watched. There wasn't real.. meat to this fight, only deception. Granted, the Zorua were all about illusion and deception, and it was a neat trick to pull, but there wasn't much of a brawl going on on either side. It seemed to just be more of a dance, then a take-down, which most people booed at fights like this. No real skill, nothing to sink your teeth into, the opposing team wasn't even full-heartedly fighting back. Callahan frowned. He wasn't one to root, but he felt if he was at least out there, coaching them on or something, it would turn into a real battle, instead of him sitting here and staring at a screen with a sharpedo complaining next to him.

{{Heheh, I can see your point. Setzer scared everyone into shape back when he was Captain of the Swim Team in Slateport, both the boys and girls teams. I think people would totally skip his class if he was their PE teacher though... Which would lead to him hunting them down and dragging them to class, and that would only make things worse... TuT

Setzer was getting antsy sitting here; he hated having to stay still. Despite the fact he still hurt so much he wanted to collapse, Setzer pushed himself up with a snarl, completely oblivious to the protests of the nurses. "Enough of this, I'm outta here. I can't watch this crud anymore, I'm done here." Setzer hobbled out of the PokeCenter in his ruthlessly stubborn way, not caring that he should stay and rest more. He could always rest in his room, it was quieter there. And he could fall asleep watching his new PokeRangers movie, that sounded like a plan...

Well if his only form of entertainment left, why the hell was he going to stay? While the nurses were distracted with Setzer, flocking him to try and get him to sit back down, though too afraid to touch him, Callahan slid off from his seat. He followed at a quick, high limp pace, until Setzer had exited through the doors, and the nurses finally turned back to him, then he bolted for it.

Though instead of going back to his dorm, where he really should be going, he decided to head back to the battleground to watch a few minutes more of the battle. It seemed obvious who the victors were, but it didn't hurt to try and influence his friends with his rooting presence?

He was quiet as he approached the battleground, then slowly sat down in one of the chairs, legs stretched out for comfort, as he watched the fight... and damn, his shirt was over on that bench, and he just sat down. Need ta 'member to get it before 'a leave..

"There's no way way your getting rid of me hat easy, sweet stuff." Trixy had spun around when he slid under her, and his kick hit her right in the thigh, She bent over to absorb the shock. She wasn't about to fall for some stupid trick like that, he'd already played it on Setzer at that. She winked at Kazuki (Captivate). Take that nasty night burst down a notch or two. As for Zori, she wanted Zori to hit her in the back. But if Kipper covered her, that'd work fine too. She charged at Kazuki, but ready to slam on the brakes incase he moved out of her way.


Captivate lowers the Special Attack stat of the target by two stages, if it is the opposite gender. Acc-100%

Kazuki wondered what the heck was the Nido-girl doing, winking at him...should he just tell her he's gay? And that he got no interest in some weirdo trying to flirt with him right on the battlefield? I mean, he was trying hard not to harass the furret boy, as much as he wanted to, he didn't even want to battle the cute kid, he'd much rather hit on him and touch him all over~. But her captivate didn't have ANY effect on him thanks to the special held item he hid in the beginning...White herb~

Which meant~ That the Night Burst hadn't lost any power and was going straight towards Trixy!!

(White Herb - It restores any lowered stat in battle, but can only be used once)

(I like that the last post was descriptive of the battle while hitting on Kipper at the same time. *is shot*)

Kipper wasn't quite sure what Trixy had been planning but he sensed that it was an attempt to lure Kazuki away. He hoped it would work until he noticed a white plant thing in Kazuki's hand....those....he remembered seeing those things before--his brother Kyran grew them around the burrow back home. It was a white herb! Trixy was in so much trouble! As fast as his legs could carry him he dashed to Trixy and shoved her out of the way. He then rolled up into a ball (defense curl) and took the blast.
The impact was strong and knocked Kipper backward and onto his back. He skid a little bit on the ground before finally stopping several feet back away from Kazuki.

"Crud. Hmph." There wasn't much way to avoid night burst. She'd have to try captivate later. Kipper then jumped infront of her, Well then, "Way to go Kip!" She seized the opportunity to attack Kazuki. She hopped over Kipper and Jabbed her clawlike finger nails into his side. If she punctured his skin he'd be poisoned and less of a problem, but that was unlikely due to the puny force of her attack. Then she could go right after Zori like she wanted too. She wrapped her other arm around him so he couldn't squirm away.

Poison Jab inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of poisoning the target.
Ability=Rivalry raises the the base power of a move by 25% if the foe and the user have the same gender, but reduces base power by 25% if the foe and the user have opposite genders.

Luckily, the poison jab didn't poison Kazuki this time but if trixy jabbed him in the same spot the next time, he'd be poisoned for sure. He ignored the pain running through his side and instead looked at the girl, "I know you like me...but hugging me on the battlefield is a bit much don't ya think?" he teased trixy, "I don't even know your name~" he was wrapped tightly in Trixy's arms, but his legs were free. Kazuki jumped high, trixy still attached to him, he then lets himself fall, Trixy first of course to slam her to the ground!

(lol Kip, he'd be a whole lot different if ya met him alone~ *w*)

"Only as inappropriate as you want it to be." Giving Captivate another chance. She tried her best to spin around in his arms, but then she felt her feet leave the ground, damn! She didn't let loose on Kazuki using both arms now to hold on, she dug her pointy nails into his neck when she hit the ground. Ouch, she laid there clinging with her death grip, she couldn't let him get away, then it'd be game over. "Trixy McClellan, and don't forget it." She growled through clenched teeth. She wasn't sure what she wanted her next move to be, and he was simply to heavy for her to roll over, and she was stiff from the blow. Idleness was a bad idea. She attempted another poison jab in his side but it was even weaker then the previous one.

Kazuki was now successfully poisoned, his eyes grew dull, his vision blurred. But he wasn't gonna back down now, they were still locked together, close together~ painfully...together~ Being squeezed and attacked in the neck could very well kill him, plus..it was his weak spot, an image of a boy being strangled to death flashed through his mind, a sudden chill ran down his spine, no, he couldn't die, not then, not now! His eyes grew wide with rage and fear, from his whole body, dark shock-waves shot out like a thunderbolt causing Trixy to lose her grip, he jumped back, away from her, coughing out blood due to the poison, grasping his neck in pain. He had an eye on the girl, he wont let her come near him, his blood was already boiling, he was trying hard not to shut down his mind and go mad, he'd end up shooting his attacks in every direction...he tried to calm down...

Well, well, there was his weak spot. She was done with him. He was either hallucinating, or had a previous memory, what ever, it didn't matter. She was in crazy amounts of pain from the dark blast. Thank goodness she had gotten a captivate in edge wise or she'd probably be down for the count. She needed to stay away from him, since he seemed to have entered a blind rage, his eyes full of fear. She pushed her self up into a sitting position. "Fuuuucckkk, ooooohhh." She pushed herself up slowly, and walked to Kipper, grabbed hold of his sleeve and ripped a huge slash in his sleeve. "I'll buy you new one..." She winced in pain, her eyes searching for the other Kipper.

Kipper, who until that point hadn't gotten up yet from the blow he took, weakly sat up again. "It...its okay...I didn't like it much" he murmured softly. Kipper was feeling tired at this point from all the blows he had taken in the battle. He'd kill for a nap really, but he didn't want to let Trixy down. Standing straight up now, his legs wobbled a little bit like jelly. Kipper wasn't exactly a battle tactician and he sure as hell was not the most observant person in the world, but well, when Kipper looked over to Kazuki...he could tell something was off. Something was really off and Kipper did not want to take Kazuki on while he was distracted. Instead he followed after Trixy to help her take down the other Zoura.
